For Larry Disney, fishing has never been just a hobby. It started at the age of four, standing beside his dad on a childhood fishing trip and discovering something that would become a lifelong passion.
Through the years, that passion grew from simple fishing trips into years of experience on the water and a competitive drive as a tournament angler, including multiple top finishes along the way.
But this story isn't just about one angler.
Larry and his best friend grew up sharing the same love for fishing. What started as a passion two best friends enjoyed together eventually became an idea: why not create something that shares the sport, experiences, and excitement they grew up loving with other anglers?
That idea became Reel Motivated Fishing.

We created Reel Motivated Fishing from a genuine love for the sport and a desire to share that passion with others.
We know the excitement of finding that bait you've been searching for, tying on something new, and wondering what might happen when it hits the water.
From hard-to-find lures and unique baits to custom airbrushed lures, soft-plastic baits, quality fishing gear, and RMF apparel, we're always looking for products that anglers can actually get excited about.
We're not interested in simply putting fishing products on a shelf.
We're interested in finding the stuff that makes you want to get back on the water.

Fishing has given us far more than fish.
It's given us early mornings, late nights, tournaments, friendships, family memories, stories that get better every time they're told, and plenty of days when the fish absolutely refuse to cooperate.

The memories we made growing up are the same kind of memories we want to help create for the next generation of anglers.
We want kids to experience the excitement of their first fish. We want families to spend more time together on the water. We want experienced anglers to discover something new and beginners to find a reason to keep casting.
Because somewhere out there is another four-year-old picking up a fishing rod for the first time.
And maybe that one moment will start a lifelong passion.

Larry, his best friend, their wives and kids, and the entire RMF team genuinely love this sport. We're building Reel Motivated Fishing to share the passion we grew up with, bring families together, and hopefully help others discover that same excitement, enjoyment, and connection to the water.
